Google Search Bar on Speed Dial Page

I have Google search as my default search on my address line. It is also on my Speed Dial/Start-up page which is redundant. I can't seem to remove it. Does anyone know if it can be removed?

There is an option to turn off the speed dial search, but none to change providers.

Not a suggestion, so closing the topic. Also, that question have been answered several times already.
