Opera's preferences do not working!

Hello!
I set up Opera preferences for “Continue where I left,” but each time when I close/open the browser the Opera opens with the the empty/new tab, it doesn’t keep the preference and I checked the settings is still checked.
Could somebody suggest what to do? How to force the Opera to keep the preference working? -

Also check if there isn't any third part software in your system that may be removing the data.
