I'm running Opera version 54.0.2952.71 on Mac OS X 10.13.6 64-bit. Since this Opera upgrade, I've had several page loading errors on Flickr and Facebook. Selecting the option to reload the page either generates the same error, or causes my system to totally crash. One occasion the crash rebooted automatically, but other cases took me to that grey screen that indicates the system crashed.
      Anyone else seeing this?

I'm still having this issue. I ran EtreCheck, which reported that I was having frequent crashes of com.apple.WebKit.WebContent. I've found ways to resolve this with Safari (which hasn't caused any system reboots), but haven't found anything to try to address it with Opera for Mac. I've installed the latest updated for Opera and done a total wipe and reinstall of my system and the frequent system reboots while using Opera persists.

Any pointers to something to try to resolve this (other than stop using Opera)?

Could you try setting up email for your crashes?

          1. Open Terminal and input the following commands.
          2. Set the e-mail address to send logs to: defaults write com.operasoftware.Opera OPCrashEmail my_email@opera.com
          3. To check if it was successfully set: defaults read com.operasoftware.Opera

my_email@opera.com doesn't have to be your real email, just something by what we could easily identify crash in our crash logging system/ Currently I don't recall any similar reports and haven't seen it myself so no idea yet on how to help you with this.
