The built in VPN for Opera has somewhat disappeared from my Opera I have updated and reinstalled it, It hasn't solved my issue. It no longer pops up in my settings page even with advanced settings on.

@xignotic Where in the world are you? VPN is not available in some places.

I live in Hong Kong and I was able to use it before. I am not sure how to get it back.

@xignotic It's known that VPN is not available in China, maybe that's the case.

I don't think that's the issue because we aren't limited by China's Internet policies. I don't understand why it just disappeared.

All the former replies are wrong, I have the same issue with VPN in my two laptops, one with Windows 7 and the other with Windows 10., VPN was working fine until about two weeks ago and suddenly stop working, only the orange appears and "connecting". Opera had not send any kind of advice about this issue.
