Password recovery with sinchronization

After having to charge the hard disk in my PC, when I sinchronize with Opera browser the password filed is shadowed out, so I cannot access to them.
I entered correctly the passphrase with non effect.
How to recover them?

@clack Did you reinstall or change the OS? If so then you may need to provide its old login password as the passphrase.
