Stopping Auto Updates In NORMAL Installation Question

I recently wrote regarding turning off auto updates of Opera in the standalone installation and was advised to rename the auto update file, which is fine. I also have Opera on another computer with a standard installation and the update appears in ccleaners scheduled tasks window. I have set the following task to disable "Task Opera scheduled Autoupdate 1518700772 Opera Software C:\Program Files\Latest\Opera\launcher.exe --scheduledautoupdate $(Arg0)" will this also stop the auto updates ?

There's no need to open two topics to talk about the same thing: stopping auto updates.
