Date Format

I am Austrian and we use the DD.MM.YYYY format, but for some odd reason my browser uses MM.DD.YYYY is there any way of changing this since its really confusing for me?

@imperatorpenetrator Where is Opera using it? As far as I know, Opera uses the date in the same format used by the system.
