      Hello,

Opera's VPN option used to work behind my sophos firewall. I had to unblock port 8000 for my computer, but it worked just fine. Now an Opera or firewall update or something seems to have changed something. I can connect but when I try to open a website I get:

While trying to retrieve the URL:https://eu0.sec-tunnel.com/
The content could not be delivered due to the following condition: Host not found

      Anyone have any ideas? Thanks

I tried both. But I am not sure how that matters. What did Opera or Sophos change?

@kragil Internal Network = Allow internal go to internet
ya know even tho 8000 is not used.. now its tcp port 443
sumtimes big brother snoop 'n (AKA Akamai Technologies) connects to port 80

ya may try any on destination and look At log to narrow down..

the only other thing is what part of the world are you.. opera vpn may be down in your area.. can ya connet w/o vpn..

I am in Europe. But changing the rule from 8000 to 443 didn't work. Opera VPN runs just fine without the Sophos firewall.

@kragil In Sophos there is a builtin network service definition called Web Surfing *i think.. that allows access to ports 80 and 443 already..

you might click Application Control thingy and make sure opera is not blocked.. or i dunno maybe you can add..

gotta be a guru !.. lol *sorry
