New laptop and setting opera up. Telling me I need to set up new account

Trying to set opera up in a brand new laptop and instead of it just letting me sign in, it's rejecting my user name and password and telling me I need a new account.

Not sure what's going on since I just did this with another new laptop I purchased about a month ago. I just signed in and it synced all my settings and bookmarks.

Help!

@msr1956 Just in case anyone is wondering, the laptop is brand new so windows 10 and downloaded latest version of opera from the website.

Are you talking about logging into Opera Sync?

Are the time, date, time zone and daylight savings time settings on the new computer correct?
