Opera blocks Youtube ads. And I don't want it to.

Let's take it from the start:
I have an ad blocker. I have checked its settings and I have put an exception for youtube in its whitelist. I have tried disabling the extension but I get the same, no ads on youtube. So, it is not the add blocker.I have also checked Opera's settings and I have made sure that the built-in ad blocker is disabled.
Still, no ads are shown in youtube.
The strange thing is that when I open Opera in private mode and get to youtube, then it gives me ads! But only on private windows..
I'm out of ideas. Anyone has a suggestion please?

@vigasman The ones at https://forums.opera.com/topic/23068/instructions-on-posting-about-problems-in-opera-for-computers that people should read before posting.

@leocg Yes, both with normal and private windows. And I get this behavior as soon as I install Opera, right after a format, so I actually did try the steps =). On two different computers! At some point I thought it might have been the antivirus, AVG, but I haven't found any such options there.

@leocg Nope. No difference. And now that I think of it, I get the same behavior from Vivaldi as well.. There's something going on with my system..

Well that's has to be a first someone complaining about not seeing ads
Can I ask why it is that you wish to see ads on youtube

@athlonite I'd like to see ads on Youtube because this is the best way I can support the channels/creators I enjoy watching on my spare time. I also disable the ad-blocker on sites that I often use for the same reason.
Here's someone who can explain it better than me:
