Opera does not update automatically... How to update manually?

Opera no longer auto updates. Am running Windows Spring Creators edition. When I go to Menu >> About Opera - Version Information, I see the following:
"Version: 45.0.2552.888 (PGO) - An error occurred while checking for updates"I have tried rebooting the computer (HP laptop), restarting the browser, refereshing the current browser window. Nothing works.
What is the recommended way to manually update? And why doesn't Opera have an "Update Manually" option in About Opera? Thanks!

@quantumcowbell As already said several times around here, run the installer.
Going to Menu > About Opera, you are already triggering the auto-update.
