VPN selection per Country

Could somebody please comment from Opera team why per Country selection for VPN is not possible anymore. Per region is less flexible. For instance, if I want to watch Dutch TV (via streaming), I need a Dutch IP address, any other Address will not work. If I now select European Region, I get a French IP address, which will not work with Dutch Televsion. Please explain the reasons why only Region selection is allowed?

@hjsteneker Because they decided to change it when VPN was moved from Surfeasy servers to Opera's ones.

It was possible before? Man that really sucks that they removed it.

Server setup is different from SurfEasy.

Try to run it at "optimal". Sometimes it starts with some country and at some point moves to a location more close to you (but usually not the country where queries origin).

Have you tried OpenNIC - would rerouting DNS quaries help?
