Why does Sync password require 12 characters?

This is so stupid and unnecessary. Ironically my password is 11 characters and I always forget this one here, so I have to reset my password every time. At least allow an option to change the password without requirement later on.

I like Opera and how fast it is and that it supports Chrome extensions, but for this reason alone I can't use the browser - I have so much trouble with synchronising.

Please fix this issue.

@weilan There is nothing be fixed, it's up to the site/service owner to decide if its password will require a minimum length and how long it should be.
Such decisions are usually made to help increasing security.

@leocg Then they will have one less user because they are stubborn. And not only that, but you can't even add custom search engines, for example like Ecosia. I want to support the cause and Opera doesn't allow me to. It's advertised as a browser that allows users to customize it, but it's nothing compared to what Opera 12 and the older versions were. And it comes bundled with bloatware like Whatsapp, facebook, VK and other social media widgets that should be optional extensions. Even Chrome's bundled extensions can be removed if one desires to...
