ah, i found an extension that does the trick.

also:

*Can you move icons around on browser bar?
*Are there browser skins, themes etc? I don't mean wallpaper for speeddial. TY!

Or... you could visit whatever URL you wish for your homepage, bookmark it and title it something like *H*, then put it at the far left end of your bookmarks bar. The advantage of that is that it saves using another extension process.
