Can't Sign In to Opera Using Google Account No More

-- Windows wouldn't let me sign-in
-- Couldn't revert to previous update
-- Had to do System Restore
-- Tried to sign into Opera after new install because of Windows removing it
-- Wouldn't recogonise my account
-- No email came through
I looked at my email and it said that Google had been used to sign-in to Opera ten days ago, so my account definitely does exist. How can I retrieve it? It keeps saying I have to make an account to link my Google account with it but I do have an account.What can I do? Any ideas? I have so many bookmarks on that account, so it'd be a massive bother to lose them all.
(I'm using my old account, linked to my old email, if anyone's curious how I'm able to ask a question and not sign in).
