Maximizing Opera window creates a white bar on the top

Every other time I maximize an Opera window it creates this weird white bar on top, to fix it I have to double click twice on the title bar. It's annoying because every time I move a window to another monitor it automatically get re-maximized which results in this white bar appearing. Is there a fix?
Screenshots with and without the white bar for comparison:

I'm also having this issue.
I'm a new Opera user (within the past month), so I can't really say whether or not it's an update that's causing it.
Software:
- Opera - 53.0.2907.37
- Windows 10 Pro - Version 1803
I did recently update from Windows version 1709 to 1803. I'm not 100% sure, but it feels like a new issue that I didn't see on the previous version. I know Microsoft made a lot of changes as far as graphics and scaling go, so perhaps that could be a source.

Looks like it might be an issue related to Windows 10 1803. Here's the only other place I've seen this issue discussed:

Change Opera to compatibility mode for Windows 8 and it should work as intended. This seems to be a Microsoft bug and it seems we'll have to wait for them to roll out a fix.

@leocg Cool! Glad that Opera can roll out a fix within their software to address the issue. Microsoft's patching tends to be a bit slower.
