the startup button opens google instead of the defined startup page

I choosed my boomarks.html file as startup page, and I actually get it when I launch opera, but the "startup" button (4 little squares) still opens the Google page. Is this a bug or did I miss something?

The 4 squares should always open speed dial, not your startup page nor Google.
