Hi all! I am new to Opera Browser. I like the set up and I like the option for a free VPN. But I am a Google hater.

Is there anyway to change the search engine from Google to Duckduckgo? Or even get rid of the start page button to have just a regular Home button that goes to a specified page? I've looked everywhere I think?

If not.. why? Why would Opera FORCE me to use the start page with a google search?

Settings > Browser > Search > Manage Search engines.

It's not possible. Maybe using a extension, don't know.

So now Opera is able to control your mind and force you to use the Google search in the start page?
Anyway, it can be hidden in settings.
