      Hello,
Since OPERA 52, GPU process is permanently using 100% CPU, making the browser unusable. I tried Opera beta, and it worked fine. But now, after 52.0.2871.27 update the problem is the same with Opera beta. (I also tested Opera developer: there is the same problem).
      what could I do do?
      thank you very much.
      Jean

@jean4066 I have the same problem, and it was already there on opera 51, what also bother me is that it uses a lot of memory too, more than half of the memory that I have on my computer, even if I don't have any tabs open, just the homepage.

Same problem with Opera 51 or 52 on Windows 10 trying to stream live TV. So I shut down Opera and opened EDGE. Edge is using between 30% and 50% on the same WEB page as Opera which was using 90% plus.

@darrylsb What are the codecs used the videos? The GPU is able to decode them by its own?

@leocg What I could say is whatever the displayed page is, GPU is 100% (Opera, default home page for example), so no video.
