It seems to have begun after installing BullGuard Internet Security. It is incredibly annoying to always have to click the box to proceed regardless of what tab i may be on. any answers/ suggestions?

Not familiar with BullGuard, but it would have to be a setting in that program. Opera is trying to save some file to its profile (probably update your history) but is not being allowed to.
