Greetings!
All my Opera sync data appears grey-out and "encrypted" even if i was logged in with a correct passphrase and opera sync does not load any files. Any chance i can retrieve those files from an older instalation on my pc?

@spankissimo What did you do before it started happening?
Except, depending on the situation, from passwords, you can copy data files from an old installation to a new one. -

I would really suffer loosing those 3300 bookmarks as a huge fan of opera since old v7. Old installation folders are empty, can i rip some recent syncs from somewhere on my drive?

@spankissimo Nope, but if you still see them at https://sync.opera.com/web/ then you can add them again.
Did you try using your old password as the pass-phrase? What about your OS password?

I have the correct pass-phrase, no OS pswd, but I can't see them at https://sync.opera.com/web/

@spankissimo Your passwords are encrypted using your OS login credentials and sometimes when situations like that happens, using the OS password may help.
And even if you don't use a password to access the OS, it still has one.

@leocg where should i enter the OS pasword? i've logged in, entered passphrase, no login screens left. Bookmarks tab is empty in opera and encrypted in online sync browser, https://imgur.com/8Ce3OlM
