Problem with the VPN

Hello.
Hey guys look... in my office the use of internet is banned.
The company have a server and all connections flow directly throw a Firewall and basically all websites are blocked execept the bank and some newspapers webs but only for 2 hours.
I use Opera Portable because i discovered that the internal VPN can bypass the firewall and surf smoothly in the webs. The problem is the location. Opera only give 3 locations Europe America and Asia but i don't know why but no matters what i do the VPN always connect me to a Location in Ukraine... even when I select the option "America".
So its very annoying try to log in a service like email or a particurlar website and fire up all systems of security because all my accounts are connect or were create with an IP of South America. i dont know what to do... I need connect to a Location near to my country basically at least USA. not Ukraine is to much far.

This is intended as just a friendly caution. If your company has even a half-competent Internet Technology staff (or hires such a service), they will either know or quickly discover from their firewall and blocker logs that you are contacting an IP associated with a VPN, whether or not they read the traffic over that connection.
A company's ban on employee use of Internet is generally for three reasons: first, it exposes the company networks and computers to a greater malware attack universe, second it often costs a company in lost employee productivity when browsing is done on 'company time', third it may cost the company for bandwidth consumed by browsing that's unrelated to business needs (depending on their connection supplier's contract).
In many companies, violating such a ban is an "actionable offense" (meaning: grounds for dismissal), particularly if an employee demonstrates a willful bypassing of network protection mechanisms - including the ban itself. Use of a VPN to bypass blocking usually constitutes a willful usage. Please consider all this carefully before you persist in something that may be putting your job in danger.
