Major bug remains uncorrected; interrupted internet connection

When I leave my computer for longer than a few minutes, I put it into its Sleep mode (via Windows 10). When I reactivate the computer and try to use Opera (version 51.0), this message appears: "Your connection was interrupted. A network change was detected." This disruption occurs 100% of the time with Opera but NEVER with either Firefox or Chrome. The only way to restore function in Opera, is to reboot the computer entirely. Several weeks of this occurring multiple times daily is infuriating. I see this bug reported multiple times in the past many MONTHS. I've tried every alleged solution recommended in those posts and none have worked.
MODERATOR: Please don't insult me by saying I must report this elsewhere. Look around and you'll see multiple posts by other users reporting this same problem. And yes, I did reported this directly to Opera itself. Opera will remain a second-tier browser as long as insouciance and evasion are among its hallmarks.

I wouldn't say that... but I will say there are already several threads on this topic. Oh, and personally I only have to close Opera, wait for it to finish closing, and then restart the browser. But anyway, closed as duplicate.
