Some versions ago was very simple to select an image (between those on the link of the page) to be used as tumbnail for Quick Access Icons (now I've Opera 51.0.2830.34)

There is noting that can be done to make this thing easy ?

      Many Many Thanks

      K

@kagliostroamp As far as I know, nothing has changed. What is the problem, it seems that you forgot to mention it on your post?

The problem is that one time the operation was very simple (and if I remember well was performed automatically when you memorize one link)

now to have a thumbnail on the icon of the link (of the Speed Dials), instead of a word, you must open the link, click on the (red) heart that appears on the right of the Top bar, select which image you want to memorize among those you have disposable on the small window that opens and exit from the link

But this procedure has problems and didn't function as desired, sometime you must repeat the thing more times till you reach the desired effect, others all is unuseful and you must stay with the word assigned automatically

This thing got slightly worse with the latest versions of Opera

p.s.: some versions ago, when you opened a link on a Quick Access Icon (I mean Opera Speed Dial) and closed the link, the "mother" window appear at the point that shows the previously opened link, now the windows appear always only at his top

As to understand what I mean, give a try to memorize the thumbnail

of this link on the Speed Dial icon

            Musikding

this is the image I want for that Speed Dial Icon

(usually you select the image clicking on the red heart that appears on the bar at the Top right of the window)

            alt text

            Thanks

            K

p.s.: as told, sometime to memorize the image is easy other time there is no way (Why ??)
