Sync Extensions and Search Engines please!

Can we please get syncing of search engines? It's so annoying re-doing it EVERY bloody time on every system when I add a new search keyword to one of my systems. And same goes for Extensions. I use many of them and changing or adding them by hand on every reinstall or change gets really annoying. I mean, we have the Sync feature which is there for this exact purpose. Why not use it? Search engine keywords are one of the most awesome features I've used in any browser. No more clumsy search fields, you just drop a keyword and word you're searching for and it'll look it up. It's why sync is so important for it, so you have same search engines and keywords in all browsers no matter how much you add or remove them.

I agree, it would be very interesting to also synchronize the keyboard shortcuts, because that yes is a very annoying job of having to stay redoing

Yes, it would be great to have sync of extensions, search engines, keyboard shortcuts (with ctrl-cmd, alt-opt mapping between windows-mac), and custom spelling dictionary.
The sync is a must when working on more machines and operating systems.
Also, I just lost all extensions when Opera crashed, so the sync would be helpful as a backup too.

Just got a new laptop so had to install Opera. I was very
pleased with sync and how it brought everything over to
my new install. Copying and pasting my speeddial was a
breeze.Extensions. Damn that was a bit of work. First I had to keep
looking at my desktop to see in which order they were in
so I could get them the same. Then a couple of them I
had to search where I got them from (Opera or Chrome
extension store). It wasn't a killer, but it was a little bit of a hassle.

If Opera made this, it would be the first browser to have such feature (if we exclude keywords syncing through bookmarks in Firefox). I really don't understand why at least search engines syncing isn't a thing. I mean, the stock ones are there and can't be removed anyway, but everything you add manually is just gone if you reinstall Opera or whole system. And that is really annoying.

Hi @skynettx, @rejzor, in the meantime, you can simply copy the "Web Data" file from the current Opera's profile (check the path in
opera:about
> Paths > Profile) to the another one (make a copy of the file on the destination profile, if something goes wrong, you can restore the file from the copy), and see if this will be enough for you for now.
