@blackbird71 What role Opera Link plays in that? Is it to maintain as a separate?
Somebody from Opera would have to explain how they operate the sync system in comparison to their new VPN servers. Frankly, I don't know what task sharing - if any - occurs at their server levels. Moreover, Opera Turbo (particularly for mobile) operates over an Opera server system as well.

If I'm not wrong, I've seen it at Flags on the latest ODev.

Ooo! That's great Hmm that's perhaps a step towards split screen/web panels I reckon.

The latest auto-updates for Opera no longer seem to allow me to select the USA as a VPN option, giving me 'Americas' instead, which does not work for viewing some location-restricted content. Is there a work-around or a way to roll-back the Opera version so it won't auto update?

@autober VPN most probably will stop working on older versions.
VPN already stopped.

that's what I'm talking about. they spoiled everything. why do they spoil everything ?! I'm so angry. now this vpn is full garbage. absolutely useless. so even on older versions stopped working. force update. what for? In the new version, vpn does not work. I hate developers

It seems that the old version was still pointing to SurfEasy - since worked better than the new one -, so they had to block it and force the upgrade.

I also regret that the VPN was not updated in the older Opera 48 Stable too.
Why should I be forced to update to the new version, which has more bugs and is worse in general? (including the missing entries "Add Bookmark" in the bookmarks bar folders). Is it true, that the new VPN version is not capable of hiding DNS requests? It would be a huge privacy hole.

Opera increase vpn speed at night, when servers load is minimal i guess. But it is still low and hard to use.

The VPN for the Netherlands was replaced with VPN for Europe.
Thanks for the change guys, I can now no longer watch Dutch TV online.

Opera 48 VPN is working again, including original locations! I wonder for how long it will stay turned on
