What is the really functionally difference between Opera Portable 36.0.2130.80
and Opera Portable 49.0.2725.47?

Opera 36 was the last version compatible with Windows Vista and XP. Of course, it lacks all the newer features such as the built-in VPN, and many of the security updates. But if you're still running XP or Vista, you can only use 36 or earlier.
