Is there a way to get rid of the white page that flashes on the screen when loading new pages/tabs?

I have been using Opera for years. I primarily install dark/night-mode extensions to browse the Internet with dark backgrounds. I just upgraded to a new 32" monitor. When some new pages load or I click on New Tab, a white screen will flash before the content loads. It is really taxing on my eyes to get "flash banged" when trying to work. Is there any extension or way to get rid of this? If not, then I will probably have to say goodbye.

"Menu -> browser -> startup". Hide the search box, hide speeddial and uncheck "show speed dial suggestions". Keep the default speed dial background for example.
That *might* do it (when opening a new tab at least), but you obviously won't be able to see speed dial stuff.

I remember in the past there were some complaints about it and why SD couldn't be written in native code as in was in Presto, but surprisingly not many people supported those as it seemed it didn't bother them much. IIRC the O-words were "we understand but we want to take advantage of modern technologies". I still believe it could be fixed, how does Vivaldi do it after all?

Many no sense decisions, even more for a new project.

@xirit32 can I achieve this with Vivaldi? I really need a solution because I can't work like this.
