      Hey guys,

I switched from Firefox to Opera and I am more than delighted ๐Ÿ™‚
I really like the easy and smooth browsing ๐Ÿ™‚ big thanks to the Opera-Team.

Yet I do have one question:

Is it possible to access the address bar in the full screen mode?

      Thanks in advance ๐Ÿ‘ฑ๐Ÿปโ™‚

I guess you should be able to do it using F2.

F8 maybe? If not then use F11 to exit full screen, enter the address and F11 again to return to full screen.

No F8 is also not the solution, I tried all the F-buttons ๐Ÿ˜ž

I start to think that it is not possible to access the address bar in fullscreen mode. Real bummer ๐Ÿ˜ž

I am aware of the workaround with escaping the fullscreen mode, but that makes it totally inconvenient. I need to be able to access the address bar as simple as possible, otherwise it is totally useless.

Firefox is capable of hiding the address bar and if you enter Alt+s the address bar pops up.

Anyway, thanks for trying to help me guys ๐Ÿ™‚

I also am a recent refugee from Firefox and I also struggle to adapt to not having the tabs available in full-screen by mousing to the top edge of the screen. Yes you can go back and forth using the keyboard but you might have a dozen tabs open so it's not practical to cycle through them all to find the one you want.

It's not a deal-breaker but it is hard to get used to (along with not having backspace to go back - my muscle memory is proving very persistent)

That's the shortcut for Opera Presto.

Don't know if even Chromium or Chrome has that option or will be added.
You may check for an extension in the Chrome Store.

See https://bugs.chromium.org/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=8022 for the Chrome bug about it.

This extension is suggested as a workaround.
