@nvmjustagirl Tried the first extension suggested, "Opera
Web Player for Spotify". Looked into the second one and that's a Chrome extension. I see no way to download and apply it on Opera -

@nvmjustagirl We have confirmed that flash works in Opera. I followed the suggested site and confirmed my version as presented here:
However, I did not notice the flash icon. This could be native only to Chrome or this could have changed (the article is over a year old). Everyone keep the suggestions coming!
*Tried DNS Flush and no luck

@simonhawk Using ProcessMonitor you you will be able to see is Opera trys to read a value from the registry, but this is denied due to insufficient rights to the key thingy..

Does this occur even if I run Opera as admin because I've done that

Its gonna be liek granting read permission to all "application packages" (Not sure if that is the actual name.. lol

@nvmjustagirl But I was admin xD as root user aren't I entitled to all permissions unless implicitly restricted? If you can tell me how and where to look to accomplish your request to grant read permission to all packages I'll do it

Did you try to copy the "WidevineCdm" folder Google Chrome, before or after you tried to run the web player. Only ask this because I think a few of those "components" don't come readily available as soon as you install the browser, some of them are only added when you try to use a website where they are needed.
Although i had this problem on Windows 10 first, on my work machine with windows 7, I also had to apply the "fix" of copying the files. Please compare the properties of your folder to the image I'm placing below:How many files and folders does it contain?
Note that if you have a Opera 64bit version the files you have to copy must be from a Chrome 64bit as well...
Best regards.
