<![CDATA[Spotify error-"Enable player in your browser"]]>Freshly installed Opera and Adobe flash player along side with it. Now no matter the various attempts, Spotify won't work. I switched to Opera in hopes of a better performance browser experience but this is concerning me on my first day of usage. 馃槙 I've scrolled through the forums to search for a solution but I have not found one.

Settings:

(1) Tried disabled/enabling VPN and Turbo
(2) Flash settings were allowed by default. While searching online, I saw a "Plugins" section mentioned but didn't see it and now assume that was used with an earlier version of Opera.

(3) Tried disabling built in adblocker
(4) Tried downloading two separate spotify extensions but neither worked.
(5) Tried watching other videos (youtube and anime) and no issues.
(7) Tried restarting the browser and then restarting my computer

See opera://about for the profile folder location. Close down Opera and delete the widevineCDM folder in the profile folder. Start Opera, go to opera://components and choose update. You should then get the right widevinecdm files.

I'll give it a try because Edge is making customization difficult. I'm really just looking for a browser that can handle large tabs. I usually always have around 20+ tabs open and just trying what else is out there to see if a certain browser can improve my experience. Thanks though, as I said, I'll definitely give it a try.

I've tested the StandAlone without the Flash command and worked.
Renamed WiDevine folder and stopped.
Reverted WiDevine to the original folder name and worked again... 卢卢

Tested the extension in the problematic profile and don't play music.

By the way, you may try to use Opera except for Spotify for a while and test it anyway.

I used to use 2 Opera versions when I had Pandora Radio problems.
Maybe Edge is lightest on resources during that time.

It would be seems that, but in my case it works for some profiles and not for at least one of them "Opera Stable profile test".

Tested in a Stable Standalone and in a "Default" Dev install and it works fine.

@zalex108 Just tried resetting settings. Set everything to block. Exited out the browser. Loaded it back up. Had trouble accessing the site so then I turned everything back on and then got the same message. Wasn't this meaningless considering we've tried fresh installs and I've had this problem since my fresh install?

When I've been trying that workaround:

The WiDevine from Chrome was auto erased.
The WiDevine from OperaStandalone did nothing.

Try resetting Flash settings in Opera and SSSidebar.
Restart Opera.
Set them again.

@zalex108 I've disabled all plugins except site settings sidebar as requested. and @nvmjustagirl after downloading the playify extension, it just redirects me to google play music. Doesn't allow me to actually connect to spotify or play music on spotify. Thanks anyway.
