Turning off update notification

I have 12.16 and I'm not interested in upgrading on my Win 7 machine. Unfortunately, yesterday the new upgrade available message started popping up and I can't find a place to turn off "check for updates". It's getting really annoying. Anyone know how to turn it off?

Go to 'O-Menu / Settings / Preferences... / Advanced / Security / Auto-update'.

Opera 12.17 is a security update.
