Black screen on opera start up

I get a temporary black screen while opera is starting up. This has only recently happening possibly since the mountain wallpaper was scrapped followed by newer updates.
Windows 7.

same problem, on all opera releases from 45 and above. win7 x64

Is your graphic card driver up to date? If yes then try disabling hardware acceleration.

helps only disabling "Windows 7 'Aero Glass' Skin"

I disabled transparency, made no difference. Chrome starts off with a white screen Opera starts off with a black screen. I don't think it can be changed it's Opera thing.
