Opera already blocks pop-ups well. But its engineers should enable it to also block web sites from redirecting pages or changing the page address, as they sometimes do.

Some redirection are required, like the one when you first visit this site if you're already logged in. Opera does block trackers, so if a redirection involves a tracker then it may not work in Opera. But if you can be more specific, please feel free to post your request in the Suggestion box forum (where they want feature requests posted).
