flips01 last edited byA PDF that displays correctly in Safari and Firefox, most of it shows garbage.
-- all in the wrong font. I assume it's a font problem or something.By garbage, I mean stuff like:
If I select text/garbage in the PDF viewer and paste into some editor, it's perfectly valid text, so it's just the displaying that's off ... Version: 47.0.2631.71
 System: Mac OS X 10.12.6 64-bit

murlock last edited bySame. Since some day some PDF are not readable. If i copy a sentence and paste it to another program, i can read it. Perhaps a problem with the typesetting/the letters?

A Former User last edited byI also have noticed this on Windows and Mac OS. I have worked around it by choosing to not use the chrome pdf as the default for now. This option is in the settings page.

A Former User last edited byYeah, I've been experiencing the same thing from time to time for something about a year so far. Furthermore, the support team members never told what actually went wrong and what's the issue source. And when I try to annotate the document inside the browser it always gets the wrong scaling frequently. For such purposes, I use other tools, like this one as an example edit-pdf.pdffiller.com It's a web-based application and it works fine through Opera when the basic PDF viewer becomes malfunctioning
