Hey all,
Like many of you im not happy with the new version of Opera (i still use 12.16 although im wondering whether i should go back to 12.14 reading some of the other threads....anyway..). Im wondering why they changed the forums? (cynic would say to hide the amount of negative threads about the new version...but hey its just a thought --- the old forums had many handy threads and information ...!!)N.

Yes, this forum has many, many threads about complaints and rants about new Opera, but less about help, information and support questions. Few Moderators watch here, spam is seldom filtered.
The quality of new forum can not be compared to the old one. -

Rationally, I'd suggest the old forum was closed to radically dim people's memory of Presto, plus to shut down the social services, such as email, blogs, and photo albums. The negativity has been carried over as a logically necessary evil stemming from Chropera's own nature.
