Feature request: Keep empty tabs open on re-opening the browser

Version: 46.0.2597.57 - Opera is up to date Update stream: Stable System: Pop_OS 17.04 (x86_64; GNOME)
Greetings,
I'd like to suggest a simple feature that allows the user to keep empty tabs open while re-opening the browser. in my work, I tend to have various tabs open (+40), and therefore I use empty tabs as bookmarks to separate between groups of related tabs (~ 5 to 7).
Now, after each time I boot my system, I have to manually re-open the tabs again in order to avoid further confusion.
Thanks a lot in advance!
Ps. I noticed a similar thread about the matter from June 2016 here: https://forums.opera.com/topic/15844/opening-where-left-off-no-longer-opens-speed-dial-tabs-since-update-to-38-0-2220-31

This is important. If I leave speed dial open (and selected) when closing browser, speed dial / start page is not open/resumed when relaunching the app.

@rudrick As far as I have understood, Opera development is on the maintenance mode at the moment. Therefore, major improvements are very unlikely to happen.

@jayaguru-shishya Just in the past 6 months Opera brought Reborn (UI) (albeit not 'finished' yet) and Snap. Under the hood Chromium advances continuously.

@rudrick It is what it is, but the tabs still do close whenever I boot my system.
Besides, if Speed Dial is not an empty tab, shouldn't it remain intact like any other non-empty tab?
Cheers mate!

Meanwhile, Group your Tabs and/or OneTab extensions may help.

@rudrick No, I don't wipe any of my profile before or after the reboot.

@zalex108 Thanks a lot! Got to have a try on those! OneTab seems to be a Chrome / Chromium equivalent for the Opera OnlyTab, isn't tat correct? Hmm, it gives me the following output:
This extension is only supported in Opera 11 and 12. Download anyway
Does it work still nice and smooth with the latest version of Opera? Any experience, anybody...?
Cheers mates!

Don't know about Only Tab, I use OneTab on all my 15.x< regular profiles.
You'll need Download Chrome Extension. Both are chrome store extensions.

Depending on the browsing:
1 - Use Group Your tabs.
2 - Open those groups in new windows.
3 - Use One tab and group them in OneTab - then you can even share them as a web site -. -

At the other hand:
A workaround for memory issues that may concern you too for many opened tabs.

@zalex108 I've been now testing
Group Your Tabs
, but it isn't quite what I was looking for. See, I do have many tabs open, but usually they are from various different websites and domains; the only thing in common is the theme. For example, when you are making Google searches and you right click many prominent websites open into a new tab, that's the kind of organizing / grouping I need in my work - and a lot.Even an empty tab in all it's simplicity would serve my needs perfectly! But Opera has changed empty tabs to Speed dial, and everytime I boot my system, the Speed dial tabs close

Ok,
Maybe there is a "Parental tab grouper" extension.
At the other hand, if did not found any SpeedDial sepperator replacement, file:///C:/ or file:///C:/Users/Public/Desktop/ may help you - or the equivalents for your OS -.
