VPN is not connecting?

Hi,
I have just re-downloaded opera, enabled the vpn, clicked connect and after that it says it is connecting but it never actually does. I have left it alone for few hours and even when i return it still has "connecting". I had this problem with opera in beta which put me off using it, now i have come back to it and it still has same problem.

I would much appreciate any help to solve this matter.

Try checking anti-virus and firewall. Also, do you use any kind of proxy to connect to the internet?
