RSS in Opera Mail: Possible to show more of the message?

I'm quite happy with Opera's RSS reader except it doesn't show much of the message. To see more I have to launch the link and this wastes a lot of time. If I could just get it to read more. Is this under the control of the reader program (Opera Mail) or is dictated by the website? RSS is just a miraculous way of sorting through volumes of info but only if it works the way the user needs it to work.
If Opera Mail can't control this are there any other RSS readers that can?

Thunderbird has an option to load the linked web paged in the preview pane instead of showing just the summary. Opera doesn't support this unfortunately and as said, it's up to the website to duplicate the whole web page for the article as part of the article's content in the feed's source.
