[Solved]How to turn off the speed dial pop-up?

When clicking in the address bar, a po-up window appears. It used to have facebook, amazon, etc. I deleted them so it's blank. How can this pop-up window be turned off?

It is turned on by clicking inside the address bar, and covers about 40% of the web page.

I don't see it here. Did you try with a clean profile?

Just noticed that there was a newer version of Opera available.
After running "Upgrade to newer version" the problem went away.
