Unwanted websites, resetting opera to defaults

I recently downloaded a book and it came with a bad program, a browser editor that opens sites I never want to, like Lauchpad.org. How do I reset opera to its default settings, how do I block sites from openning. Any information will be helpful

First remove the unwanted program. Does it have a name? Some of these are more difficult than others.
