Can't log in to parallels control panel using opera

Am trying to change over to Opera as it is so much faster than Firefox, I have got everything to where I want it except that when trying to log into a Parallels control panel (the admin backend for my website, hosted on Web24), it fails in Opera every time. I have triple checked the username and password, even copied them from my saved passwords in firefox, yet it just drops me back in the same login screen telling me my username/password combination is incorrect.
So, there seems to be something in Opera making a mess of this login for some reason, none of my other logins are having this problem.
Anyone come across this previously?

Version of Opera, and of Windows? Old Opera (Presto) would do this if a password contained foreign characters, but I haven't heard of it in recent versions. Mind you, cookies could be an issue depending on your cookie settings - if the login is on a different domain you may need to make sure third party cookies are enabled.
