A few days back I've noticed that when I type something in the combined address and search bar, nothing seems to pop up. I've reinstalled Opera 2 times and deleted my user settings but the problem still persists. This .gif below shows what's happening on the search bar.
Basically when you type out what you want to search, no suggestions appear except for preselected text on the search bar.Normally you should see suggestions as seen in the picture below.
My PC OS is Windows 10 64 bit and my Opera version is 45.0.2552.888 (PGO).
I hope to see suggestions as to how to fix this problem.

The option is enabled on Settings?
If you are uisng extensions, did you check with them disabled?
Did you check with a clean profile folder? There is no option relating to the combined search and address bar that relates to being able to see suggestions. There are no extensions installed and a clean profile folder doesn't help.

There is no option relating to the combined search and address bar that relates to being able to see suggestions
This one: 'Use a prediction service to help complete searches and URLs typed in the address bar'
There are no extensions installed and a clean profile folder doesn't help.
Any third part program that may be interfering?

This one: 'Use a prediction service to help complete searches and URLs typed in the address bar'
That option is enabled
Any third part program that may be interfering?
I don't know. I un-installed the program I last installed and re-installed Opera twice with no change.
Also when I click right under the bar when search something, I get directed to the first suggestion. https://gyazo.com/c6c7ec4f9a3a43e6500452a110c9e267

Keeping your user data?
On the second attempt, I erased it
Try disabling hardware acceleration
That option isn't available on my PC because it doesn't have a graphics card

Ah, I was looking at my system settings rather than Opera settings with advanced settings enabled and after disabling hardware acceleration , It seems to work fine . Thank you Leo and Zalex for your help
