Able to move Firefox passwords?

I am giving Opera a try; as im getting quite tired of Firefox's constant lagging. During setup I selected to retrieve the default browser's bookmarks.. but is there a way to bring my saved FF passwords over also?

You can import data from Firefox and I guess passwords are included.

Apparently not. I had to login / save all my passwords manually. Brought over all the bookmarks but no passwords = (

Search for a FF password dumper and copy them manually or some way to import to a password manager.

Alternatively, you could install a password manager in FF, let it copy passwords, and then install same password manager in Opera. I used this method with LastPass to transfer passwords from Chrome and it worked well.
