What are the _autoupdate.exe files in the Opera FTP page?

Are they used to manually update Opera Browser?
      From what version? Any version?
(For example, we could update Opera 15 to the newest version using these files).

Do they function like .mar file in Mozilla browser?

They are probably the Opera installers too, but seems some files are missing, so they use the files under current installation:

Firstly back up your Opera 15 profile.

        BTW,
any of them should update your version.

Is it possible to update Opera 15 (the first version of Chromium/Blink-based Opera) to 45 using manual update?

Files to be used by the auto update process.

Are they used to manually update Opera Browser?

          Nope.

we could update Opera 15 to the newest version using these files

You use the file that doesn't have 'auto update' on its name.
