Deleting or managing bookmarks

I accidentally imported ALL my Chrome bookmarks spread over about four folder and I now have multiple duplicate folders containing many duplicate bookmarks. I want to delete the folder and reimport. It is beginning to look as though the only way this is possible is to delete the account and start again. Any thoughts on a solution that does NOT entail deleting each BM individually. Software extension solution?

You can go to the bookmark's manager (Menu > Bookmarks > Show all bookmarks) and delete them.

Hi. Thanks for responding - but I still have to individually delete each folder.
I was hoping that de-duplification would work - but the de-duplication only works on bookmarks not folders.
Any other thoughts?
