How to downgrade from version 45 to 42?

Hi all,
Some months ago I quit Chrome for Opera because of material design which I personally despise. They allowed user to disable it in settings, but then removed this option at once. So I installed Opera 42, disabled auto-updates. I've lived for some time, it worked perfectly. But today without no reason I suddenly felt an urge to upgrade.
I regretted it.
First thing I saw was this outrageous color palette and material design, then some left-bar with a bunch of icons for Facebook Messenger and other crap, which cannot even be removed in settings. In other words, a monstrosity no different from Chrome.
I desperately looking for a way to downgrade to version 42. I saw a help chapter with what supposed to be a link to older versions, but that page is outdated. Any help and advices is appreciated.
Thank you.

Cannot even be removed? Must not have tried. There's an icon in the sidebar to control whether the sidebar is only in the speed dial page or is always there, and in the speed dial page settings yo can turn on or off any messenger or other sidebar content. (I don't use any messenger software, so the first thing I did was turn them all off.)
You can download any version from the FTP site. But make sure you disable autoupdate quickly if you do.

Wow, thanks. I was unaware of that FTP site. Now I can disable autoupdate and get an older version of Opera where there is no mute button on the tabs.
