Maybe flash player?
BTW, check this.
Since a while don't have problems even without the user agent enabled, don't know if playing just in Html5 (no flash installed) has made any difference.

I have tried user-agent switcher, and it doesn't solve the problem. Tried to set Flash as not to run on any page, and it still will not run.

Then, try with a clean profile.
Steps in pinned post "FAQ..."Edited:
Tested right now with a clean profile, everything Ok."You cannot know the meaning of your life until you are connected to the power that created you". 路 Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi

Clean profile, Pandora loads.
Checked for the occurrence of the word "pandora" in all files in profile directory, and found it in Preferences and Browser.js. Changed name of preferences, and ran Opera, pandora does not open.
So I assume the issue is with javascript...now what??

I recommend:
Check in OHelp - Find solutions - Back Up
And know what do you need to copy to the new profileor
Go to the previous profile, use sync, then to the new profile, synchronize and set it manually.
PS:
1 First option may incur in copy the cause of the problem.
2 If you have a lot of addons you may copy their settings but may incur point 1.If want to find the cause, import and test every part.
If just want to make it work, just start over and set it all again."You cannot know the meaning of your life until you are connected to the power that created you". 路 Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi

zal, first off I appreciate your help.
Bottom line, to go through all that just to make it load in Opera is kind of self defeating; rather I can just open IE and work with pandora there.
I'm curious though, how did this happen in the first place??
A comment to Leo...how is it that your opera also doesn't load the Pandora page??

Rereading this you may try the same as with preferences (probably may need to reinstall to recreate file)

You can walk that way.
I've used to use 2 browsers or 2 Operas sometimes to avoid setting all again until get tired.how did this happen in the first place??
Btw, take note of this post so if you have any problem that can not be solved by Private window and usual, then a Clean profile is the saviour :knight:

leo, same as me, loading with a clean profile allowed the page to load.
Let me know if you find a fix, thanks

Wonder why, then, when I use the current stable Opera I can load the page with a clean profile?
-

So what you are saying is the issue exists with you on Opera Stable (does not load), except with a clean profile.
And with developer version with a clean profile it does NOT load.

Here, Pandora is working on every Opera version.

Obviously there's something in leo and my Opera setup/preferences etc that prevents it from loading.

Found the culprit, in "browser.js" if you search for "pandora" (opening it with notepad), you will see a few occurrences of this word.
I closed Opera, renamed browser.js, and reopened Opera, voila, Pandora loads.
So...is there any way to edit browser.js so as to remove the pandora references...or does Opera actually need this file at all (I see that when I rename it, Opera will write a new "browser.js". If I just leave THIS new one, what happens to Opera's performance??
Or...is there some way to go to "flags" and disable or enable something under the "javascript" topic??
There is an entry in browser.js::
"PATCH-1251: Avoid requiring Flash player on pandora.com"

Nope, it would probably make the file to be seen as invalid an a new one would be downloaded.

Browser.js has been around since a decade most probably and it's used to fix some bad pages.

That's better,
You may compare Pandora's line in both files and post it, then Leo could check if has the same.About the questions, didn't dive into that file.
