But I can use the function in Opera 12 . Why cancel this? Unbelievable

Switch on the flag opera://flags/#save-page-as-mhtml and restart Opera.

That's all well and good, but if you do that you're offered the option to save as mhtml, and ONLY mhtml, no other format!
Surely that's not right, you should still be able to choose other options?!
          🙂

Not right, I agree. I wrote about it in comments on the Desktop Team blog a while ago, no change yet.

              Hi all

How is this possible? Can someone tell me what I need to do please (and how)? I use "Save as .mht" lots so hoping to get this working in new Opera.

              Cheers

Type opera:flags on the address bar and look for mhtml.

                  Hi

I've just tried that and it took me to this page:

                  https://addons.opera.com/en-gb/extensions/details/flag-button/

I don't think that is what I'm after is it???

                  Any other ideas?

Sorry if I am missing something obvious. And thanks for the help.

You just type opera:flags or opera://flags, without any spaces.

A bit tortuous to achieve this, but now enabled, Thank you.
IT SHOULD BE THE DEFAULT (instead of the flippin twin _files folder)
Please provide a web site where people who like the old way ( .htm file with accompanying folder with same name, and _files on the end of the name ).
Not only do you have to live with all those 'twin' folders, but you may have issues with long file names within those flippin 'twin' folders.

Note to all potential employers, check the new web site that lists people that like the old horrible way, and NEVER HIRE THEM

                        Rob
PS Usually MS do not get their programs, etc 'right'
However the one thing that they did get right, is they have provided .mht in IE for decades.
