Open an application from Opera, possible?

Hi,
Is it possible to create a bookmark in Opera that will open an application?
With the full screen mode and the quick launch tab, I would love to be able to do this.
If i put for instance as a bookmark:
file://D:\Cloud Imperium Games\CIGLauncher.exe

What it does is ask me to download the .exe file.

It was possible in the old Opera, but I'm pretty sure it isn't now.
I'm sure that it would be considered to be a huge security risk!

It's not possible, the file will be downloaded as you already noticed.
